Yuri lay there for what seemed like forever. After her recent actions she felt just horrible. How could she be so stupid. Why? The only question that would come to mind, was why. She frowned and sat staring at the ceiling. Her mind wandered over many things. Things of her as a kid, things as her after her parents accident, and now the thing with Riley. She felt really bad about that. It weighed heavy on her as she sat. Sitting up she felt like it was a time for a walk. Yuri used to walk when she was depressed about her family. It made her feel better. She was still dressed from her earlier outing, so she just walked out her door.
She made her way quickly in the newly lighted building. Hitting the lobby before she realized it. Not stopping to look around she walked. She didn't care who she saw or where she went, she was just going. Her feet carried her at a normal care free pace. She stopped to see the flowers that grew, stopped for the breeze that blew. Yuri gained a young smile. Feeling the sun warm her hair and shoulders, Yuri felt like a child again. Her bright blue eyes looked in outside world. She hadn't felt like this in a while. Yuri grinned and took off in a run. She had training in Tai Chi her whole life so a little run wouldn't be bad. Her legs pumped and she stepped up her pace to a jog. No need to all out run. I'll just run. Like before. She thought to herself as she jogged down the empty streets. No sign of life anywhere. She spoke softly to herself. "Will there ever be life again?" She looked up towards the sky as if asking.
